Physical AI

We study intelligent systems that connect perception, reasoning, and action in the physical world — toward capable, safe, and trustworthy embodied AI.

About the group

Physical AI sits at the intersection of machine learning, computer vision, robotics, and control. Our work spans learning algorithms, world models, sim-to-real transfer, and robustness of agents that operate alongside people and in unstructured environments.

We are part of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology and collaborate broadly across the University and industry partners.
